FAQ's

How do I book?

 

Bookings can be requested via the contact form on the website. Once availability has been confirmed, payment details will be provided via to secure your booking. 

 

Do you offer a meet and greet?

Yes — an initial meet and greet is required before all new bookings to ensure I can meet both you and your pets, discuss routines, and collect any necessary information.

Are bookings confirmed immediately?

Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received.

Are you insured ?

Yes — I am fully insured for pet sitting services covering 

 

What areas do you cover?

I currently provide services across Aylesbury, Tring, Aston Clinton, Berkhamsted, and surrounding areas.

Please include your address within your booking enquiry, and I will confirm availability as soon as possible.

Can you administer medication?

Yes — I can administer prescribed oral, topical, and injectable medications. Whilst I am a qualified veterinarian, pet sitting services do not replace veterinary care. I am unable to diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or provide specific veterinary advice as part of these services.

 

What happens if my pet becomes unwell?

If I have any concerns about your pet’s health or wellbeing during the booking, I will contact you immediately using the emergency details provided. If veterinary attention is required, I will contact your registered veterinary practice or the emergency provider where appropriate.

 

Will I receive updates?

Yes — daily updates and photos will be provided for peace of mind during your time away.

How long are the drop-in visits?

​Drop-in visits typically last 20-30 minutes, allowing time for feeding, litter tray cleaning, welfare checks, medication administration if required, and companionship. If your pet requires longer please inform during booking.

Do you only care for cats?

My services are currently focused primarily on cats, however if you have other pets such as hamsters, rabbits, fish etc please let me know at time of booking and I will try to accomodate accordingly.

Can you care for senior or nervous cats?

Yes — I have experience caring for elderly, anxious, rescue, and medically complex cats, and always aim to make visits as calm and stress-free as possible.

MY PLANS HAVE CHANGED, CAN I GET A REFUND?

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund terms apply:

  • More than 7 days before the booking start date Full refund will be issued.

  • Between 7 days and 48 hours before the booking start date 50% of the booking fee will be retained.

  • Less than 48 hours before the booking start date Bookings are non-refundable

All refunds will be processed via the original payment method used at the time of booking (e.g. Stripe).​
